Belleville firefighters made quick work of a boat fire at Crate Marine early Monday morning.

Multiple callers reported seeing heavy smoke shortly before 6:30 a.m. from the boat storage

compound near Dundas Street West.

Firefighters responded and had flames under control in a few minutes.

There were no reports of injury and an investigation into a cause is underway.
