TAMPA — The Eagles defense gave up a couple of 70+ yard touchdowns to the Buccaneers in the second half of Sunday’s game.

But they still got some huge stops.

And those stops were the difference in the Eagles’ 31-25 win over the Bucs at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday as their own offense sputtered in the second half.

“We were able to hang on for the win because the defense was able to get us some turnovers,” head coach Nick Sirianni said.

After going into halftime with an 18-point lead, the Eagles’ offense was able to score just one touchdown in the second half and it came on a short field after the defense gave them the ball back.
