GREEN BAY (NBC26) — More than 1,000 participants from across northeastern Wisconsin gathered for the annual Walk to End Alzheimer's in Green Bay, raising more than $260,000 to support families affected by the disease and fund critical research, according to the Alzheimer's Association.

The event, described as the world's largest gathering to end Alzheimer's, brought together community members united in their determination to fight the disease that affects millions of Americans.

Community response exceeds expectations
