Right-wing commentator Laura Loomer and Democratic Congressman Ro Khanna engaged in a heated exchange on X after Loomer accused Khanna of speaking at what she described as a “pro-jihad conference” in Dearborn, Michigan. Loomer posted video clip from ArabCon, claiming attendees laughed when law professor Amer Zahr asked, “Do you condemn October 7th?” and that San Francisco State’s Dr Rabab Abdulhadi declared she would “never ever condemn Palestinian resistance.” Loomer alleged Khanna “spoke at a pro-jihad conference” and demanded he apologise or resign, while also naming other speakers, including journalist Mehdi Hasan, Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, and Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud.
