TAMPA, Fla. — The Eagles are 4-0, which seems like a good place to be after four games.

But when you walked into the visiting locker room following Sunday’s 31-25 victory over the talented and previously unbeaten Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the winning team didn’t seem all that jubilant.

Perhaps some of it was the heat and humidity. The game-time temperature was 88 degrees and the September heat on the Gulf Coast of Florida is suffocating. The Eagles knew that and, after arriving a day early to get acclimated, dealt with it quite well and flew home with a victory.

So why all the long faces?
