A person on a scooter was struck and killed in the San Fernando Valley on Sunday night, and police are searching for the driver who fled the scene.
A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson confirmed to KTLA that officers were called to the intersection of Strathern Street and Woodman Avenue in the Panorama City neighborhood at 9:37 p.m. on reports of a collision between a car and a scooter.
“Both the vehicle and the scooter were traveling northbound on Woodman when the driver struck the person on the scooter, fleeing the scene without rendering medical aid,” the LAPD spokesperson said.
