VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.( WAVY)-- A teen is hurt following a shooting in Virginia Beach Friday night.

According to police, officers were called to the 900 block of Excavator Way at 7:34 p.m. for the report of a shooting. This is near the Elevate 17 Apartments.

When officers arrived, they found a 15-year-old boy with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There is no suspect information.
