Vanderbilt University has named Kevin Stack as senior associate provost for Vanderbilt University–New York City.

The announcement comes about 13 months after Vanderbilt announced its intentions to establish a campus at the 13-building General Theological Seminary campus located in Manhattan's Chelsea district. The main address is 440 W. 21st St.

Relatedly, and in August, Vanderbilt announced that the New York State attorney general had granted the approval necessary for the university to finalize the lease of the future campus (read here ).

According to a release, Stack, a VU professor of law, will oversee academic affairs for the New York City campus. He will work in tandem with James Kellerhouse, assistant vice chancellor for strategic initiatives. Ke
