The Government of Canada has formally listed the Bishnoi Gang as a terrorist entity, citing its violent activities, transnational criminal network, and growing influence in diaspora communities.

Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree announced the decision on Monday, stressing that acts of violence and terror have no place in Canada. The designation, made under Canada’s Criminal Code, means the gang now meets the legal definition of a terrorist group.

By being placed on Canada’s terrorist list, all property, vehicles, or money linked to the Bishnoi Gang in Canada can now be frozen or seized.
