PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — More people are choosing plant-based diets. In fact, vegan cuisine is one of the fastest-growing sectors in the food industry in America.

Now that there are so many more vegan food choices on the market, new vegan restaurants are opening up, too.

Mike Roach owns Mike's Vegan Grill in Greensboro. Customers can order everything from pizza to tacos and cheesesteaks, and everything is meat and dairy-free.

Roach started experimenting with vegan meals ten years who is a strict vegan. He says he missed his favorite foods like hot dogs and burgers, so he started creating vegan versions.
