An Emotional Farewell Held for Swaranjit Kaur

Chandigarh, September 29, 2025: Preet Kanwal Singh, Joint Director of the Information and Public Relations Department, suffered a profound loss as his mother, Swaranjit Kaur, passed away last evening. She was 80 years old and had been unwell for some time.

Today, at the Sector 25 Cremation Ground, people from various walks of life gathered to bid her an emotional final farewell.

She is survived by her husband, S. Bahadur Singh; sons Amandeep Singh and Preet Kanwal Singh; daughter Advocate Gagan Mohini; and their families.
