Ahead of the Dasara celebrations, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has increased bus fares on the Bengaluru-Mysuru route.

The hike ranges from Rs 20 to Rs 30 depending on the service and is effective from today until October 8, the end of the festival.

For Karnataka Sarige Vaibhav services, fares have increased from Rs 170 to Rs 190, Non-stop services from Rs 210 to Rs 240, Rajahamsa from Rs 270 to Rs 290, Airavata from Rs 430 to Rs 450, and Airavata Club Class from Rs 440 to Rs 460.

The corporation emphasised that this increase is limited to the Bengaluru-Mysuru route only and does not affect fares on any other routes.
