BUFFALO BILLS VS. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

New Orleans fell to Buffalo 31-19, dropping their record to 0-4 for the season. The Black and Gold return to action on October 5, when they play the New York Giants at the Caesars Superdome, with a 12 p.m. CT kickoff scheduled. The game will be regionally televised on CBS (WWL 4 locally).

The Saints had 22 first downs compared to 20 for the Bills, including a 14-9 advantage on rushing first downs.

The ground attack was key for New Orleans, rushing 34 times for 189 yards (5.6 avg).

The Saints recorded just four penalties on the afternoon compared to 11 for Buffalo.

The Saints offense got off to a fast start with a seven play 69-yard touchdown drive on their opening possession, ending with an 18-yard rus
