**Brady Tkachuk Highlights Experience in New Prime Video Series** Brady Tkachuk, captain of the Ottawa Senators, is the featured player in the opening episode of the second season of Prime Video's series "Faceoff: Inside the NHL." The show offers fans an inside look at the National Hockey League, showcasing Tkachuk's experiences from the past season. The 26-year-old forward participated in extensive filming, which included hundreds of hours at the Canadian Tire Centre and during road games with the Senators. The production team also documented Tkachuk's time with his brother, Matthew, while representing Team USA at the 4 Nations Face-Off. The six-part series is set to premiere on Prime Video on October 3. Tkachuk attended a special screening for media and fans at the Lansdowne VIP Cinema last Wednesday. "I feel like I’m an open book to begin with, but just for people to see the ins and outs at the rink," Tkachuk said on the red carpet. "The stuff that people normally wouldn’t see, and team camaraderie, too." Tkachuk expressed excitement about the series, stating, "I think that it shows our group and the city well, and so I’m excited for everybody to see that part of my life. It was an awesome experience." While details of the series remain under wraps due to an embargo, Tkachuk shared insights about its content. The filming began in late January when the Senators were struggling to secure a playoff spot. Tkachuk, who had previously participated in a similar project with Matthew during his time with the Florida Panthers, was familiar with the process. The series also features personal moments, including time spent at home with Tkachuk's wife, Emma, and their newborn son, Ryder. Family members, including his parents and sister, are shown supporting the brothers during the tournament in Montreal and Boston. Tkachuk highlighted the importance of family, saying, "Family is so important to me. My wife, Ryder, and I think everybody knows my brother, sister and parents, how close we are. It’s important to show that side because it’s something I care about the most." The series captures significant moments, including a game against Team Canada at the Bell Centre, where both brothers fought immediately after the opening faceoff. Tkachuk noted that the behind-the-scenes footage from the 4 Nations tournament is particularly engaging. "People are really going to enjoy the 4 Nations segment. The whole episode is unreal. It’s tough to pick a favourite moment," he said. The series also chronicles the Senators' journey to the playoffs for the first time in eight years, highlighting both the challenges and triumphs along the way. Tkachuk played a key role in leading the team into the playoffs, known as the Battle of Ontario. Despite the presence of cameras during this intense period, Tkachuk found the experience manageable. "They did a great job of not being invasive, in your face, and even in the room, you almost forget they were there," he said. "They do such a good job of respecting your space, but also capturing those emotional moments that everybody wants to see. Not everything is sunshine and rainbows in those emotional moments. They did a great job of capturing that." Looking ahead, Tkachuk believes the series will serve as a valuable reminder of the Senators' playoff journey. "When I had this opportunity, it was going to be meant to be, that they’re going to capture a long wait for the drought to be over, and we’re going to make playoffs, and capture that ride and the highs and lows of that stressful time of the year," he said. Tkachuk has played 512 games in his NHL career. Other players featured in the series include Sidney Crosby, Anze Kopitar, Seth Jarvis, Brad Marchand, William Nylander, and Zach Werenski.
