A home was struck multiple times by gunfire early Monday in Wilson Borough.

Borough Police Chief Christian Meehan said the shooting happened around 4 a.m. in the 2300 block of Second Street.

Responding officers found several spent casings in the road and there was evidence the house was struck by bullets, he said.

Despite the multiple bullet strikes, there were no reported injuries in the incident.

The police chief said a small white SUV was seen by witnesses leaving the scene. Those with information are asked to call Wilson Police Det. Matthew Shive at 610-250-5491.
