Washington: There is no end to Donald Trump’s tariff war against the rest of the world.

Three days after announcing a 100 per cent tariff on all branded and patented pharmaceutical products imported into the United States, the US President has now imposed a 100 per cent tariff on movies made outside the United States. The announcement came through a statement on Truth Social on Monday. ADVERTISEMENT

“Our movie making business has been stolen from the United States of America, by other Countries, just like stealing ‘candy from a baby.’ California, with its weak and incompetent Governor, has been particularly hard hit. Therefore, in order to solve this long time, never ending problem, I will be imposing a 100 per cent Tariff on any and all movies that are made outside of the United States
