The CSIR-Indian Institute of Petroleum (CSIR-IIP) celebrated the 84th foundation day of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) on Monday with a ceremony that highlighted the CSIR institutes’ pioneering contributions to research, technology and sustainability.

In his inaugural address, the director, CSIR-IIP, H S Bisht highlighted the major achievements of CSIR and the benefits provided by CSIR to society and the nation as a whole in the last 83 years of its existence.
