MISHAWAKA, Ind. (WNDU) - School is a place where kids can learn about core subjects but also a variety of electives, and technology is often a huge help along the way.
At the newly renovated Covenant Christian School in Mishawaka, students are finding new classes and opportunities. For the first time in school history, this non-denominational private school has expanded to include high school classes.
“I mean, it’s great to just be part of making a milestone in the Covenant Christian history. Hoping that this will be my high school and go to college right out of here,” said freshman Emily Vega.
There are only 12 freshmen this year.
“Really small classes, so you get to know the kids well. And you just make a bunch of friends by coming here,” said classmate John Berlin. “It’s great!”
