BRIDGETON — Police arrested two city residents in a stabbing early Saturday morning.

Gabriel Garcia-Dominguez, 33, was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon.

Benjamin Garcia-Lopez, 31, was charged with aggravated assault.

Both were sent to the Cumberland County jail.

Police responded to the 100 block of East Avenue for a reported assault at 1:51 a.m. and found a 26-year-old Bridgeton man suffering from stab wounds to his upper back. He was transported to Inspira Medical Center Vineland.
