The Los Angeles Clippers’ star player, Kawhi Leonard, has been in the headlines this whole month due to the under-the-table deal. Pablo Torre reported that the Clippers paid Leonard through a now-bankrupt company called Aspiration in an effort to circumvent the salary cap. Torre also revealed the involvement of Clippers owner Steve Ballmer in this scandal.

Torre revealed that Ballmer funded Aspiration with $50 million. Ballmer attempted to clear his name in the scandal during his interview on SportsCenter. However, the saga continues as Torre again came up with some stunning insights about Ballmer.

“It does not make any iota of sense,” an insider says, “to be both hoodwinked and bamboozled yet continuously giving money,” Torre wrote in his recent post on X (formerly Twitter).
