The victim, identified as Rehan Suhail of Kashwa locality in Chetragam, was reportedly riding his bicycle around 7 p.m. when the wild animal pounced on him. Alert villagers rushed to his aid and managed to drive the leopard away, rescuing the boy from further harm.
“He was suddenly attacked, and it was a terrifying moment. We rushed immediately, making noise and throwing stones to scare the animal off. Thankfully, the boy was pulled to safety,” a local resident said.
