A man has been charged with a number of sexual offences after police attended an incident at Derby railway station . Officers were called to the station on Friday, September 26, to reports that a man had suffered a medical episode.
He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and has since been charged with three offences. Paul Rushby, of no-fixed address, was charged on Saturday, September 27, with sexual assault, attempted sexual assault and exposure.
The 46-year-old was remanded in police custody to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on Monday, September 29. Videos on social media had shown police cars parked outside the front of the station as Railway Terrace was cordoned off.
