GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Two people were injured early Monday, Sept. 29, in a reported shootout on the city’s Northeast Side.
Grand Rapids police responded around 1 a.m. to the 500 block of Grand Avenue NE on reports of multiple people shooting at each other.
While police were on the scene, two gunshot victims showed up at a local hospital.
One was in serious but stable condition. The other suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
Police found damage to several vehicles as well as at least one house.
Detectives continue to investigate.
