Demonstrating the immense creative potential of its students, the Department of Student Research at Lovely Professional University (LPU) hosted a 36-hour flagship innovation challenge, Gear Up Season 4: Gateway to Smart India Hackathon 2025. The event served as a dynamic platform to identify and nurture the next generation of problem-solvers and innovators.

This edition witnessed a record-breaking response, with 900 teams registering across disciplines. After a rigorous Idea Screening Phase, 450 teams comprising over 2,600 student innovators qualified for the Internal Hackathon.
