CLIMAX - With a young team, Climax-Scotts came into the season just hoping to get better each week.
Looks like that plan is working.
Climax-Scotts came up with a dominant 66-0 victory over rival St. Philip in Southern Central Athletic Association Red Division action in 8-player football at Climax-Scotts High School on Friday, Sept. 26.
"We are super young," said Climax-Scotts coach Tyler Langs, who had just two senior starters returning to this year's team. "We have a lot of sophomores playing for us. We have just wanted to progress week to week and each week we are getting a little better. Our kids are getting a little bit older every week and getting a little bit more experience each week as we look to pick up where we left off last year."
