ATLANTA — “It stinks.” Those were the words of Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn coming out of his team’s second loss of the season, both on the road, and it pretty well sums up the opinion of most who watched Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons, hoping for a third win instead.
A Commanders’ game that had underlying tones of revenge, with quarterback Marcus Mariota and Quinn himself having been a part of the Falcons’ franchise in the past, came down to what football always does: Execution.
