EXCLUSIVE: In a competitive situation, A24 has boarded Hotel Hotel Hotel Hotel , the sci-fi thriller from Together writer-director Michael Shanks . Shanks, who wrote the script that appeared on the 2021 Black List, will also direct and produce.

The sci-fi thriller follows a man wakes up trapped in a mysterious hotel room. All alone in a mind-bending prison, his only chance for escape is teamwork — with himself.

The film will be produced by Mike Cowap of Princess Pictures and Adam McKay and Todd Schulman of HyperObject Industries.

Shanks was one of the big winners at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, where his body horror comedy Together earned rave reviews and became one of the bigger acquisition deals of the fest when Neon came in to land distribution rights .
