Derabassi (Punjab), September 29, 2025: In an effort to raise public concerns, the Punjab BJP organized a “People’s Assembly” in Chandigarh, which saw active participation from senior BJP leader Gurdarshan Singh Saini representing the Derabassi constituency.

During the event, Saini criticized the Punjab government’s lax response to recent floods, highlighting the unfulfilled promises made to flood-affected residents. He also pointed out that Punjab’s debt burden is increasing daily, putting the state’s economy under strain.
