ABC has ordered “ RJ Decker ” (working title), based on the Carl Hiaasen novel “Double Whammy,” to series for the 2025-2026 season.

The show was originally ordered to pilot at the broadcaster back in May, with Scott Speedman joining in the lead role in June. The show also stars Kevin Rankin as Aloysius “Wish” Aiken, Adelaide Clemens as Catherine Delacroix, and Bevin Bru as Melody “Mel” Romero. Weruche Opia had been cast in the role of Shay Bennett for the pilot, but the role will now be recast.
