FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - We are starting off another dry week with temperatures in the 80s. Most of this week will feature exactly what we are used to this year, conditions that are sunny, warm, and dry. We could hit into the upper 80s today after tying a temperature record with a high of 89.

As high pressure remains in control, we will remain dry over at least the next week. That will put us at an end for precipitation for September and for the first time since last October, a month with less than an inch of precipitation. This marks the 11th driest September on record and the driest of the 21st century.
