While the Telangana government opposed the hike, Andhra Pradesh extended support to Rishab Shetty’s film. AP Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan stated, “Don’t create any hurdles for Kantara here! As for the business-related difficulties our films are facing, the film chambers of both languages should sit together and discuss. After that, we too will talk at the government level. I will bring this matter to the notice of the Hon’ble Chief Minister.”
