JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - A Louisiana man who kidnapped two children, killed their mother, and drove the children across state lines to sexually assault them has been sentenced to life without parole.
On Monday, Daniel Wayne Callihan pleaded guilty in Hinds County Circuit Court to four felony charges, including one count of capital murder, two counts of sexual battery, and two counts of kidnapping.

Circuit Judge Debra Gibson sentenced Callihan to life on the murder and sexual battery counts, and to 30 years on each kidnapping count.
Those sentences will run consecutively to those he received last week in Louisiana and any federal sentences he receives in federal court.
