The route for legendary boxer Ricky Hatton's funeral procession has been confirmed. The former world welterweight champion, who was found dead at his home in Hyde in September, will be put to rest on Friday, October 10.
On Monday afternoon, the 46-year-old's family released details that show the cortège's will travel from Gee Cross through Hyde towards the Manchester Cathedral and finally the Etihad Stadium, home of his beloved Manchester City.
The procession will begin at the Cheshire Cheese pub on Stockport Road, Hyde, at around 9:45am, before making its way to Harehill Tavern.
Doves will be released at its next destination at The New Inn. Further stops will include Hatton's Gym, Hyde Town Hall, Betta Bodies Gym and the AO Arena. Content cannot be displayed without co
