In rare fraud case result, victim recoups thousands taken by scammers

ORANGE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- A man from New York recently pleaded guilty to defrauding an older resident of Orange County.

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, it was notified in March about a 77-year-old victim who had been defrauded of $21,000.
