J.T. Miller suffered a non-contact injury at MSG Training Center on Monday and was not able to finish practice.

The Rangers captain appeared to strain either a groin or a hamstring as he attempted to whack a puck out of the zone while falling to his knees on the ice.

He stayed down for some time before gingerly skating off, hunched over in apparent pain, to the locker room.

Since he was being tended to by trainers after practice, Miller was not made available to the media.
