Matt Beard's cause of death has been confirmed after the former women's football manager was found dead at his home earlier this month aged just 47. ‌

Paramedics were called to the home in Flintshire, north-east Wales, before he was rushed to hospital. John Griffiths informed a coroner's court hearing on Monday that Beard was tragically found hanged at his residence. ‌

He was taken to hospital but sadly passed away at 9.15pm on Saturday, September 20. A full inquest is set to follow after the hearing was adjourned, reports The Daily Star . ‌
