It’s home sweet home for a national hero in Mumbai, as Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav was given a hero’s welcome back to his city, after sealing India’s ninth Asia Cup triumph last night in Dubai.
India put away a pesky Pakistan side in the final over of a thrilling chase to secure a five-wicket win and bring home the glory yet again.
Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Airport was chock full of fans galore, who had gathered in numbers to welcome back their Asia Cup-winning captain and hometown favourite.

Many would have expected the skipper to come back home with the trophy, but alas, given how the controversial post-match trophy presentation unfolded, they had to make do with none this time around.
