Disney announced Monday that an untitled The Simpsons movie is set to hit theaters July 23, 2027. The Simpsons Movie , a feature version of the long-running Matt Groening-created Fox animated series, previously hit theaters in 2007.

Plot details for the new film have not yet been shared. 20th Century Studios confirmed the news on Instagram with an image of Homer Simpson snagging a pink donut covered with sprinkles in the shape of the numeral “2.” The caption reads, “Homer’s coming back for seconds.”
