A 63-year-old man died after falling from a mountain trail over the weekend, authorities in Washington state said.

According to the Skagit County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was hiking with a group of eight people on the Sauk Mountain Trail on Saturday, Sept. 27, when the incident occurred, The Seattle Times , Cascadia Daily News , NBC affiliate KING and ABC affiliate KOMO reported.
