Wednesday has abandoned a part of the original Addams Family tree, but this decision was for the better. The ending of Wednesday season 2, part 2 promised a deeper look at the Addams Family via the tease of Ophelia, Wednesday's aunt and Morticia's sister, who was presumed dead. However, Ophelia will seemingly be the villain of Wednesday season 3's story .
