ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) halted construction activities on Monday to honor two contractors who recently lost their lives on Minnesota roads. This pause, referred to as a statewide safety stand down, is intended to enhance safety in work zones.
