Charlene “Charlie” Mabon, 61, of Oakfield, N.Y., passed away peacefully on Sept. 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on Aug. 29, 1964, Charlie lived a life marked by love, joy, and service. She worked at Oakfield Elementary, where she was known for her kindness and devotion to children, before retiring from the NYS Veterans Home, where she took great pride in caring for those who served our country. She also dedicated many years as a Girl Scout leader, remembered for her generosity, joyful spirit and the countless lives she touched.
