BOSTON — Anfernee Simons figured, seven seasons into his career with one team, he couldn’t imagine leaving the only NBA home he knew in the Trail Blazers. But he got the call midway through this past offseason as the Blazers sent Simons to the Celtics in exchange for guard Jrue Holiday .

So now Simons is a Celtic, learning what it’s like to be traded for the first time in his career. He made his first public comments Monday at Celtics media day, saying all the right things about wanting to win and fitting into a winning culture.
