Bright Osayi-Samuel is already walking the disciplinary tightrope after four bookings in Birmingham City’s opening seven Championship games.

Osayi-Samuel avoided a booking against Coventry City on Saturday, so a yellow card against Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday will see him banned for Blues' trip to Wrexham.

Should the full-back receive a caution in any of Blues’ next 12 Championship games he will receive a one-match suspension.

The first amnesty comes in after 19 Championship matches, which means players can no longer be banned for receiving five cautions.

Osayi-Samuel has collected his four bookings to date against Ipswich Town, Blackburn Rovers, Stoke and Swansea.
