ANN ARBOR, Mich. — It’s only Monday, but Michigan football feels optimistic on the injury front coming out of the bye week.

The 20th ranked-Wolverines played their last two games down a pair of starting offensive linemen, captain Giovanni El-Hadi and Brady Norton, and without starting cornerback Zeke Berry, all of whom were sidelined in the Week 2 loss at Oklahoma with separate ailments.

With an additional bye week to heal, it leaves the door open for their return when Michigan resumes Big Ten play Saturday against Wisconsin (Noon, FOX), head coach Sherrone Moore said Monday.

“I feel very good about where we are,” Moore said. “That was the No. 1 goal last week, was to get guys healthy, get guys back. I feel like Gio’s in a good place. I feel like Brady’s in a good place.”
