GRAND RAPIDS, MI — The co-founder of a popular West Side brewery is stepping out of the spotlight.
Chris Andrus, co-founder of the Mitten Brewing Company, announced on social media Monday, Sept. 28, that he is stepping away from the company he helped build for the past 15 years.
“I will still be involved (just in a more limited capacity) and will retain my ownership, but the time has come to seek new challenges outside the hospitality world,” the post read.
Andrus told MLive/the Grand Rapids Press that he originally planned to step away from day-to-day operations in 2020 before the COVID-19 pandemic forced him to jump back in.
