PC leader Tony Wakeham announced various measures his party would undertake to address road maintenance and safety today.
Wakeham was in Pasadena for the announcement.
The party has committed to implementing 24-hour snow clearing – at a cost of $1.9-million and increasing moose fencing to the tune of $1-million.
They will also create a multi-year approach to fixing roads and filling pot holes, and implement a regular brush-cutting maintenance plan.
On the latter, Wakeham highlights the serious safety concerns overgrown brush can cause by pointing to a recent incident in which first responders had trouble locating a vehicle because it was hidden by brush.
