The details for Jim Bradley’s funeral and visitation are set.

The funeral service in celebration of his life will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Bethany Community Church.

Guests are invited to gather beginning at 11 a.m. at the church, located at 1388 Third Street, Louth, St. Catharines. Cremation has already taken place.

Bradley was in his second term as Niagara Region chair when he died Friday after a brief illness. Bradley’s 55 years in public service included 41 years as an MPP, which the second-longest term for a member of the Ontario legislature.

In addition, a visitation is planned for Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at George Darte Funeral Home and Cremation Centre at 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines.
