A 40-year-old St. Catharines man faces numerous charges after a church in the city’s downtown reported graffiti damage.

Niagara Regional Police began investigating the reports of damage to the church in the area of Church and Queenston street early in September.

Officers in the community orientated response and engagement team identified a suspect, and on Sept. 25, he was charged with three counts of mischief and two counts of failing to comply with probation orders.
