British author J.K. Rowling recently had scathing criticism for the arguably the biggest actress from the movies her books inspired.

Rowling, 60, posted a lengthy statement to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday morning that took aim at former “Harry Potter” star Emma Watson , who has been critical of Rowling’s anti-transgender rhetoric .

“Like other people who’ve never experienced adult life uncushioned by wealth and fame, Emma has so little experience of real life she’s ignorant of how ignorant she is,” Rowling said about the 35-year-old Watson on X.

Watson, who played Hermoine Granger in the franchise’s film series, shared last week on Jay Shetty’s “On Purpose” podcast that she wished to make amends with Rowling after criticizing Rowling’s anti-transgender remarks in 2020.
